Aggregate exposure also has three levels: cream (minimal grinding, smooth and subtle), salt and pepper (light aggregate exposure), and full aggregate (heavier grind that exposes the stone in the slab). The right combination depends on your slab’s existing condition, the lighting in the space, and the look you want. We walk you through samples before we start grinding.

No, when finished correctly. Polished concrete reads as glossy because of the mechanical refinement, but the surface is smooth without being slick.
